• Whether the lift chair should be Junior Size, Small, Medium, Large, Tall, Extra Wide or Heavy Duty
• Whether you have a normal weight or over weight.  Each lift chair has an arm rest width specification
• Whether your legs will gently rest on the floor when you are sitting.  Each lift chair has a seat to floor specification.
• Whether your head will be supported by the back of the chair.  Each lift chair has a seat to height specification.
• Whether your lower back will rest gently against the back of the chair.  This is the most important specification.  Your femur bone is your body's largest bone.  If you do not sit while touching the back of your chair, you will have back strain in a short time.
• Whether you like a chair softer or firmer in the back.
