Gendron's Regency LX
and Regency DX Power wheelchairs employ a direct drive motor / drive system
for efficient, quiet and reliable service. There are no belts or chains that
are inconvenient to maintain or replace. Regency LX and Regency DX Power
wheelchairs are available in 20", 22", 24", 26", 28" and 30" seat widths,
with a patient weight capacity ranging from 450 to 600
pounds.
Braking
Electronic braking prevents
the chair from moving when the power is off or the joystick is in the neutral
position. This safety feature is necessary for patients who use ramps or
travel on uneven surfaces.

Controller
Gendron's Regency LX
and Regency DX Power chairs feature a fully programmable electronic controller
with a battery level indicator and rheostat style variable speed adjustment.
The joystick mounting allows the rider to adjust the height of the controller
and the distance from the front of the arm rest to achieve the most comfortable
operating
position.
Additional
Features:
Front casters and side
frames are reinforced and gusseted at stress points to ensure reliable
service.--The caster journal is reinforced with a triangular gusset
welded to the frame of the chair.--The side frame, wheel lock mounting
strap and removable arm receptacle feature added structural
supports.--Gendron's Folding Frame enables the wheelchair to fold for
ease of transport when the batteries and battery tray are removed.--Rear

brace and the chair grows from 14 to 18 inches wide. The Acti Lite youth
chair grows from 10 to 14 inches wide. Easy adjustments also
