A Full-Featured Exterior Mounted Scooter Lift
One look at the Outback's durable anti-slip platform surface and all-steel, weather tight construction and you know it is a member of the VMI family. This tried and true lift solution offers all the convenience and quality of our Excel for those who prefer an exterior mounted scooter lift. The Outback offers the versatility of a 3 or 4-wheel scooter arrangement. Automatic dual hold-down arms and a "stabilizing pin" reduce rattles and sway to provide worry-free driving.
The Outback is just what its name implies: A sturdy exterior scooter lift. The Outback offers a variety of features to accommodate nearly any vehicle style, with a sturdy 300lb. lifting capacity.
This innovative addition to the VMI family is sure to please you. The Outback ST's self-tensioning tie-down system, automatic stowing mechanism, and 300lbs. lifting capacity make transporting your power chair a breeze. Operation is easy with its large magnetic switches. VMI utilizes two stabilizing pins to prevent rattle and sway when driving. There is no other self-tensioning tie-down system that is so reliable and so secure.
The Outback ST's self-tensioning (ST) tie-down system incorporates a padded strap with an easy to use seatbelt buckle to safely hold your power chair in place. - Orthopedic Beds
